Uber-Geeks

Well, not a *new* job. I'll still be with Hannaford, but now it's the Meredith store, and it will be a full-time overnight position. That's 8 hours more a week and about $2 more an hour. Yeah, I'm happy.

This may adversly effect some gaming, at least for any game that wanders into the 11:00pm range, as that is likely when my shifts will start. We'll adapt, I just may try to move TSNG™3 to a night I have consistantly off, or work my schedule so that Thursday is a permanent night off.

Anyway, wanted to spread the good news.

I could use any help anyone would like to give during my moving process on Monday (after I get out of work @ 5). I'm hoping to have all the big stuff moved by Monday night. Today (Sunday) I'll be moving as much of the small stuff as I can to minimize what needs to go over on Monday.

If all goes well and I have enough help, we'll be able to game in the man loft this Tuesday!!!! Let me know who can help (either call or email me)! Thanks!

w00t! Yup, I finished signing the papers at about 4:30 ish! I plan on beginning the move process sometime around the 16th-18th of August...all depends on when my uncle is able to move out.

The new man cave will be awesome. Much better than my basement.

Guys, I hate to do this, but I think I'm bowing out of the Star Wars game. At least until there are more players.

It appears Gamestop had decided to take preorders on Wrath of the Lich King, even though Blizzard has not posted an oficial release date. What's funny is the text on Gamestops official website:

Official price and release date have NOT been announced by Blizzard. In this case, the price and release date were determined by the GameStop e-commerce staff, (comprised of overpowered warlocks), using a combination of 6 and 20-sided die.

UPDATE THREE:
This weeks (8/6) movie is going to be Be Kind Rewind. Jack Black comedy about a couple of video store clerks who accidentally erase all of their movies and try to re-film the movies themselves.

Look for next weeks (8/13) movie night to be extra awesome when we start at 4pm for our first multi-movie night! We will be doing our first Dead-a-thon, when we show all three Evil Dead movies back to back. 6hours of campy gore and Bruce Campbell. It doesn't get any better.

UPDATE TWO:

I have purchased my set (Yes, the boxed set also, not the individual books, lol) but have heard that there is an online copy you can have on your computer (and not the dndinsider compendium). It does not come with the books, does anyone know where to d/l it from?

Ok, heres my situation... as many of you probably know, Ive been applying to anyplace with a position in my field, and I just go hired this week, at a company in Tilton. I had my first day on thursday and everything is going well so far. However my hours are pretty much 1pm to 9 monday through thursday, and 8 to 5 on sunday... unfortunately this does not leave me the option of continuing to play games on those days... I will not be able to attend the current starwars game on tuesdays... or be able to play in Jermy's pending tsng game on thursdays.

I've got my books and I <3 them. Some crazy changes that I think will turn out to be pretty darn sexy! Of note:

• New Races: Dragonborn, Eladrin, Tiefling
• Removal of Half-Orc and Gnome
• New Class: Warlord
• Removal of: Barbarian, Bard, Druid, and Sorcerer
• Healing Surges
• Powers for all
• Multi-Classing as feats rather than outright class changes
• Major changes to attribute increases
• Diagonal movement is 1 square rather than 1.5!
• and a whole lot more...*drool*
