I could use any help anyone would like to give during my moving process on Monday (after I get out of work @ 5). I'm hoping to have all the big stuff moved by Monday night. Today (Sunday) I'll be moving as much of the small stuff as I can to minimize what needs to go over on Monday.
If all goes well and I have enough help, we'll be able to game in the man loft this Tuesday!!!! Let me know who can help (either call or email me)! Thanks!

w00t! Yup, I finished signing the papers at about 4:30 ish! I plan on beginning the move process sometime around the 16th-18th of August...all depends on when my uncle is able to move out.
The new man cave will be awesome. Much better than my basement.

I've got my books and I <3 them. Some crazy changes that I think will turn out to be pretty darn sexy! Of note:
- New Races: Dragonborn, Eladrin, Tiefling
- Removal of Half-Orc and Gnome
- New Class: Warlord
- Removal of: Barbarian, Bard, Druid, and Sorcerer
- Healing Surges
- Powers for all
- Multi-Classing as feats rather than outright class changes
- Major changes to attribute increases
- Diagonal movement is 1 square rather than 1.5!
- and a whole lot more...*drool*

As some of you have heard through the grapevine (or from me directly), Uber-Geeks will once again be changing...and changing drastically. I have enlisted the help of Nate as a fellow coder (I'll be training him in PHP over the coming weeks) and we will be re-building Uber-Geeks from the ground up rather than using a generic, installable piece of software (like this and the previous versions of UG).
As such, we need input. Here are some suggested questions you can ask yourself regarding the site:

Just as a reminder, I put the D&D database that Nate found online and searchable at http://dnd.uber-geeks.org!

Yup. Wizards of the Coast site has been down since last night due to the announcement at GenCon. I've written a little something up regarding some rule changes and plans for the new edition over at BorkWeb. Crazy stuff. May 08 is the PHB release date, June for the Monster Manual, and July for the DMG.

Because I'm pretty lame at poll administration (I've always been), I've opened up poll creation to all members. So...if you have a poll idea, create one! Lets try not to have more than one new poll a week if we can. At most, two new polls a week. Happy polling :D

Two things:
First: As some of you may know, the site was down....not sure how it happened as I was away and didn't tweak anything. Odd. Anyways, all is well on the Uber-Geek front.
Second: I am the proud father of a baby girl :D Samantha Joy Batchelder http://flickr.com/photos/borkweb/sets/72157600286746284/
She was born on Monday, May 28th @ 8:43 am. w00t.

This is excellent news! Weird Al is on tour again and he'll be in Meadowbrook Farm in Gilford on August 10th! I, of course, must go. Who's coming with me?

I've taken the liberty of posting all Eames' The End of TSNG2(tm) posts in the TSNG(tm) Geek Group. We can't have those going off and disappearing on us! Maybe this will convince Eames to post more updates :D
